L to da L plus One aka Lyrical One

It all started back in '99 when me and one of my homeboys started freestyling at work. That freestyle turned into my very first single called "Yall Don't Really Hear Me", a positive message song wit street mentality. That track alone turned into a "demo tape" wit a bunch of bebop beats. People were filling it and so I dropped another tape in '00 wit a remix to "Yall Don't Really Hear Me". I remember someone telling me to use some instrumentals. I wasn't too fond of using someone else's beats so I tried to figure out how to make my own. In '03 I got deployed to Kuwait and during my "off time", I wrote a couple of songs. One of those songs was "Nothin Fo Free", which was about 9 verses long! I just couldn't stop writing to it. In '04, came across a music maker disk for the Playstation 2. I took those beats and dropped the demo version of "Give Em What They Want". Later on that year, I got hooked up with some software that let me create beats and do all recording from the comfort of my own home. Now I am part of a record label called Rags 2 Riches and the rest............. is history!
